Paverpol The textile and decoration hardener par excellence! Dip natural materials, such as textiles, in Paverpol. Drape or wrap the material around a wire figure or other armature and leave it to dry. Paverpol dries fast, but slowly enough to allow plenty of working time. After it has hardened, you have created a beautiful decoration or sculpture, which can be used indoors as well as outdoors.
Paverpol dries completely transparent. Colored textiles, possibly with a pattern, retain their original brightness. By adding colored powder (Pavercolor) to Paverpol, Paverpol can be colored without slowing down the drying time. It is also possible to combine Paverpol with paper, silk, chamois leather, self-hardening clay, polystyrene foam, dried flowers, wood, plaster, pottery, etc. Paverpol adheres to almost all materials, except plastic. The finished projects are rock-hard.
Paverpol Transparent; A sculpture made with Paverpol Transparent and that you want to place outside needs to be either completely painted with weather-resistant paint or varnished with Josefine’s Varnish. Do this after two weeks of curing (or longer in high-humid areas).
Sculptures made with pre-colored Paverpol like Bronze, Black or Grey can be placed outside after two weeks of curing. Varnish is not necessary. It is important that you have wrapped the sculptures in a way that it is not possible that water can get in between the fabric and the frame. This will prevent it from molding.
Protect Paverpol in its liquid form from frost, once it is hardened however Paverpol can withstand extreme frost. Tools and hands can simply be washed in warm water.
Available in transparent, Black, Bronze and Lead 500 gram, 1000 gram and 5750 gram containers.
Pavercolor
You can use Pavercolors to tint Paverpol or make paint.
Color the Transparent Paverpol:
One container of Pavercolor is used to color 1000 grams Paverpol Transparent. Mix the Pavercolor with some water before you add it to Paverpol. This prevents it from becoming lumpy. Note; bright Pavercolors might fade when the object is placed in the full sun outside. Not suitable for outside are red, violet, violet red, light blue and yellow.
Make paint: Mix Pavercolors with Josefine gloss varnish.
Make “water paint”: Simply dissolve Pavercolor in water. However, this paint can only be used for indoor pieces of work. Note. The Pavercolor Gold, Bronze, Copper, Antique Gold, Silver and Mother of Pearl will lose their luster when mixed with Paverpol. The luster can be retained by brushing the dried piece of work with the Pavercolor metal color, mixed with Josefine gloss varnish.
Comes in containers of 40 and 300 ml.
Varnish
Use “Josefine’s Varnish” to protect garden decorations that have not been made watertight and resistant to the elements. It is a clear high-quality outdoor varnish. Brushes can easily be cleaned with water and soft soap.
It can also be used in combination with Pavercolor in order to create a water resistant paint. Do not use the ‘extreme mat varnish’ on dark colors.
Available in mat and satin varnish 100 ml or 375 ml jars.
Pavercotton
This a 100 % cotton fiber. It can be used to create hair, make bowls or wings. If dipped in the Paverpol textile hardener (possibly colored with Pavercolor) and squeezed out well, it can be used to add hair/wigs to the Paverpol figurine or statue. It can also be used to make creative dishes and other home decor items. Comes in bags of 50 grams.
Stockinette Is a very stretchy, open-weave knit cotton, which once dipped in Paverpol textile hardener can be used as decoration or to dress a figurine. Once the Stockinette is dipped in Paverpol, it stretches in length and will become twice as long. One bag: 80 cm x 100 cm.
Reliefdecoration
A beautiful and highly decorative dried wood grain. It becomes very pliable if a coat of Paverpol is brushed on. It can be used to decorate figurines or to create numerous other decorations. It has a natural color, but it can be dyed beautifully with Pavercolors or acrylic paint. When you make the Relief Decoration a bit damp you can even slit it in two! Comes in bags of approx. 30 x 50 cm.
Paverplast
Can be used to create a completely watertight layer on sculptures and statues of Styrofoam, plaster, self-hardening clay, papier-mâché etc. When Paverplast is mixed with Paverpol (100 grams Paverplast for 500 gram Paverpol) you create a watertight paste. Apply the mixture directly on a foundation in layers of 1 a 2 mm. If you want a shiny surface, dip your finger in water and brush on the Paverplast paste. Make it stronger by working more layers on it. After every layer wait till it is dry, before the next layer.
Paverplast mixed with Paverpol can be colored with Pavercolor to create numerous colors. Store it in an airtight sealable tray. It air-dries. If the Paverplast becomes too stiff, you can add some Paverpol. Do not add water!
Comes in containers of 100 grams or 400 grams.
Wrappers Wrappers are very thin pieces of cloth that are stretchable. When applied to a skeleton it can make the surface of an object very firm but above all, very smooth.
Cut 4 pieces of the same size. Use a brush to put one layer of Paverpol onto the skeleton. Wrap it as tight as possible. Apply a second layer of Paverpol onto the piece of Wrapper with a brush. Watch one of our video tutorials on Wrappers!
Should you want to place the object outside put a layer of Paverplast Paste on top of the dried object. This is a mixture of Paverpol and Paverplast powder. Wrappers can also be used to decorate Paverpol statues. Perfect to use for hats and shawls. Dip the Wrapper into the Paverpol. Squeeze it and put it onto the statue. Even art pieces like paintings, panels, photo frames, boxes, etc. can be decorated by using Wrappers.
Comes in a box of 100 pieces.
